The painting offered here is based on a composition by Philips Wouwerman, which is now in the Dresden Gemäldegalerie (inv. no. 1444) and was copied in the 18th century by artists such as Franz de Paula Ferg (1689-1740) and Carel van Falens (1683-1733).
