With a dendrochronological report by Prof. Dr Peter Klein dated 30.10.2015, which dates the wooden panel to around 1612-1618 (felling date around 1610-1620). A comparable composition by David Vinckboons can be found in the Bayerische Gemäldesammlungen - Staatsgalerie in the Neue Residenz Bamberg (inv. no. 5983, oil on wood, 50.7 × 83.5 cm), which is dated around 1602-03.
